Surprisingly Delightful Maunday

Amazingly today was a rather nice day. In many many ways. I got a lead on a few jobs, most of which sound rather sketchy, but when yur desperate you go after sketchy anyway. The least scary of the prospects is the Target Warehouse job, which is unfortunately in Topeka, but is legitimate. The rest of them sound like I will be importing Chinese children or running a credit card scam, should be fun! Come Wednesday I will begin exploring my options on these jobs, I set up one 'interview' in Topeka and will hit up the target warehouse that is there on the same day. I say 'Interview' in these '' cause I don't want it to sound to respectable. This was the sketchiest of all, I'm just waiting to get knocked out from behind and have someone melt my eye off Hostel style.

The day continued to go nicely outside of the job front. It was kind of sad to not receive anymail, but that was far offset by the delightful weather outside when I stupidly checked for mail. Most of the rest of the day was spent chatting to Jessica and Drew, which was delightful as always. Jessica seemed to be having a nice day @ work, and she is positively wonderful to talk to when chipper. I then spend the rest of the day, cleaning up the kitchen, cleaning up the front room. Organizing bits and pieces of the other rooms and putting away some of the laundry. I'll finish the laundry in the morrow, was just to depressing to do all @ once tonight...

I had a decent conversation with Mark on the drive home Sunday (decent phone conversation with Mark is like winning the Lottery, which unfortunately we failed to do). I infact just inquired to my father as to whether anyone won the powerball *someone did*, and ohhh crap. I just remembered I forgot to call the twins on their birthday, damn this brain of mine. If Either of you read this, Happy Birthday! I'll have to try to remember to call them tommarah. Anywho back to Mark, when talking to him he sounded like he would indeed be headed back to his parents after his hospital appointment. Its not that I think that it is a bad decision, I am just bummed to have more Mark time stolen from me. Curse that shotgun.

The night then continued with the cooking of some kind of Chicken Shishcabob thingy from the shwans man, which everyone seemed to more or less enjoy but that I was not impressed by. Kathy, Drew and I watched Stargate. Jessica seems to have grown away from the gate. Which is a bummer cause I think it is fun when we all watch it together cause I'm a nerd like that. But is also maybe good cause now I can burn through it faster and get up to date, then we can just start watching it on normal TV once a week or whenver it is on. She reads the Internets spoilers on em anyway.

We started watching Gilmore girls on the weekend, which makes me very happy in that I have loved that show for quite some time, and it thrills me that she enjoys it to. She has a very ummm, not sure how to say it. She often thinks of my shows and droll, or fake, etc. So I found it to be quite excellent that she enjoyed watching the Girls, and am happy that we can watch them together.

Will Work For Food

Still have not gotten that job with Chad, really really hoping it will materialize here quickly. I know if nothing else Jessica is understandably getting sick and tired of going into work while I sit around all day. And Hell without Final Fantasy Online I've not got much to do all day, heh. And we really need the money right now, hell who ever doesn't need money. Other then that been having a good time looking @ the new magic cards and talking about our hopeful website Lorebroker.com (doesn't exist quite yet so don't bother going there.) I plan to try and learn 'Ruby' in my free time, its the programming language Computer-mastermind Drew chose to use for the website. It's frustrating so far, not that I could ever program that well, but it sucks that I forgot what little I knew, and my math skills are so out of practice as well. But if I was able to learn some basics I would hopefully be able to contribute in some small way. And if nothing else it will occupy my mind.

I got Jessica some hopefully cute, possibly awful Vday presents. They are ....drumroll...... a thermometer and an alarm clock, heh. Hopefully she will post pictures of them on her blog @ some point so you don't think they are totally terrible, maybe they are. But I thought they were cute. Other then that had a good Vday, went out to eat (accidentally ate something including gluten, not totally sure what it was so was sick last night.) Then I had a good time @ the old gym.

Feels really good to be back in the gym groove again. I vainly, or stupidly, or hell I Dunno some other 'ly' don't want to look fat and out of shape in my wedding photo's, and more importantly I don't want to be fat and out of shape. Going to the gym gives me more energy on a daily basis, lets me feel better, and hopefully makes me more useful in a physical labor job, which is about all I seem good for.

Life has been up and down since I last posted. I've had some really good days, some rather frustrating days (mostly @ work). Not sure if they are giving me less hour on the schedule lately cause they are mad about me changing my availability (which I did in thinking I would be working with Chad by now) or because they want me to quit, or because those were the only hours available. I'm hoping the latter, but would not be surprised if it was the previous. Myself and the Gatekeeper don't exactly get along.

So in summary I am excited about our website possibilities, excited about hopefully working soon, and hoping that my working will improve my current relationship, not that it is bad. Just that it is hard to have one person working full time (and then some, she works extra jobs, she's hardcore, gotta luv er) and one person not working, not going to school, and not writing the next Great American Novel.

P.S. Figured it would be rude of me to go this long without a post and not put up a graphic.....

Shatty Day

Having a total poop day so far. Went to bed last night before my body was actually ready to sleep, and as such I spent pretty much the whole night tossing and turning and getting no sleep. Then come morning/Jessicawakeuptime she was friendly enough to cuddle w/ me just long enough this morning to wake me up with no chance of falling back asleep. Then I was trashed all day and unable to get any further sleep. The one bright spot is that Chad (my brother in law and a really friendly chap) said I can work w/ him, but not for a couple weeks (damn!). But hopefully that works out great, I think I will like working for him, I just hope I can do a good enough job. Then to poo on my day later I got stuck on the phone with KU for like 30 minutes with no human voice!

So I eventually just sent the admissions office an email, but email seems to go over as well as one of those cake smelling candles @ fat camp. Anyway I'm exhausted, my eyes make me look like an extra dancer from Thriller, and I have to work from 5-11 now >< GodamnyouThursday!

Sick, but found safety

Syuk on that Brady, The Plummer ran WILD on you! Bruuutha!

Had a pretty good day today all things mashed together. I had to wake up earlier then I had hope, but it was for a good cause. Went to Applebee's with Jeef and Sarah which was good, I never get to see either of them anymore, so it nice to hang with them again. Sounds like things are going well for them, although a feel for Jeef cause Sarah chose a pink and umm yellow I think wedding, not that I would want blood red and black for my wedding, but yellow and pink? chumon now. haha!

Then came back and Jessica was beginning to complain aboot a stomach ache, but she did not seem to be overly concerned about it @ first. I say this cause if anyone knows how to complain its by Boobles. So I was rather surprised to find that she felt to crappy to baby sit today, which was a bummer twofold. One that she was sick feeling, which is never fun, sounded like she was having similar sensations to those I feel when Gluten strikes. Secondly it was a bummer cause I had already made plans for Mark and Drew to come over, Stu also followed those Drew over to our abode. I had a most confusing night with them both being here. I'm not sure why but for some reason I just could not stop calling Stu - Drew, maybe cause their names end in uuuu but I dunno, it was quite confusing, but my brain fails to work frequently so life goes on.

Later in the evening, maybe an hour or so after they arrived my body informed that I had injested gluten @ Applebee's, so I had a fun bloated stomach and lots of enticing pain. The most painful bit was having to admit to myself that I had gluten @ Applebee's for I had argued with Jessica there that my food was not containing gluten, and even though the confused waiter (confused because he frequently brought water out for your drink refill regardless of what was in the cup, such as coke) had not mentioned my meal as gluten free. Ahh well, There is a lot of pride swallowing in this relationship, so much so that I think I need to pick up some more pride, Dunno where I could find anyone with some to spare though being that most people I know are nerds.

The rest of my Buhda bellied night was good as well, the ladies created for us a meal of salad and potatoes, then unfortunately got angry @ us for not diving after the food in a hasty enough matter, for which I am sorry, but am none the less truly confused at the anger over it. But it was a tasty meal and was followed by 40 year old virgin which I had not seen and totally enjoyed. I think I would have preferred seeing the non unrated version so that the jokes and timing could be quicker, but was very very funny.

And then I capped my night with some research into gluten free foods and found some really helpful websites, and a better list of what drinks I can ingest, which was nice. Plus I had some definitions rounded out for me about what foods I can or cannot have, basically if anything is iffy if it was made in the US it is prolly all good.

Everyone enjoy yur Sunday, make sure you don't do much and watch the playoff games, I sure as hell will be trying, but I imagine Jessica will be trying to stop me from enjoying said playoff games....to be continued

Satisfied

Nice when dreams come tru. Herm Edwards is COMMNDAME! (more then likely only hamid will be able to read that word). And it thrills me to the core, We may actually be able to own next year if he makes our defense gangsta'. In other news been tearing up some Stargate and Magic the Gathering arse lately. Thereby making me possibly the nerdiest thing in this town (next to drew and kathy whose children are doomed to get their asses kikt). I don't really have all that much to post aboot this time. As I have not been doing much lately, happily apparently going to be getting a chance to hit the gym soon now that Jessica wants to go. Always fun to get bigger stronger faster and better looking.

Anywho haven't been up to anything, phone is acting nutty so I may not be getting messages anyone has been leaving me, have a super Tuesday

HYPED!

I'm bloody psyched! So many sweet bits of information were waiting for me when I bermped around on the internet moments ago. First off, as everyone knows YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!!! And that is what the Chiefs will be doing next year if everything goes as planned, Herm fxcking Edwards is supposed to be in contract negotiations, woohoo! I was just talking to umm maybe Mid maybe Mark maybe someone else all together that I wanted nothing more then to manage to get either him or Green Bay's Ex Coach rather then Saunders, and I got my first pick. SOOOOO AWESOME!

Secondly was randomly looking for a price on some random magic card and saw that the new GUILDPACT expansion is coming out on the third of February, (Bob thinks we should do an expansion draft tourny, gimme thoughts on that people). I'm excited about it, it supposedly has three new guilds, more gold cards obviously, and brand new, never before seen four color critters! wee! heh, hopefully it has some cool new lands. If anyone knows a website that lets me see what new cards it has please respond on my comments, gatherer did not yet have them up.

Thirdly I know most of you won't give a crap aboot this cause you thought the first one sucked, but Underworld Deuce comes out on the 20th, and being that Kate Beckinsale is my future homewrecker I am really excited to see her in leather anew! Plus it has "I FEEEEL IT IN MY FIIINGAHS I FEEEEL IT IN MY TOEEES!" who I always enjoy. Anywho that is all I have to comment on for now, gonna go check downstairs now and see if the silly amount of sex and the city watching is aboot over.

Happy Birthday ... day

Today was Booble's birthday, well according to her the entire week has been her birthday, but we of sane mind know that only today was her birthday. Started it off with a nice late sleep in, followed with her getting her drivers license and me heading to mass to get her a purse. She managed to get back from the DMV in time to attempt to get her purse before I even arrived @ the store. Alas the B-day gods chose to punish her and there was no purse, then there was no book, then no one to eat sushi, then an angry put upon fiance'. But I think her day eventually ended up pretty solid, @least that is my hope. Hopefully we will be able to get her that purse, I believe if I manage to call the store when an actual manager is in place I can get some answers. In other news played a lil magic with Drew tonight and watched some more Stargate. The eps are actually getting pretty decent now, I would even say good. Sounds like she may be wanting to go to the gym again, which is sweet for me cause I would luv a reason to get back in the gym, assuming that we would go together that is. Which being that we have but the one car we tend to do many many things together.

For her birthday celebration I ingested some questionable sushi, not that this sushi in particular was questionable, but all sushi is by nature a questionable food. I choked it down as best I could, absorbed irritating amounts of Anthony and Jessica pestering to eat things I know I don't like and don't want to eat, then eventually escaped to borders, in order to get the book we could have gotten earlier in the day if someone cough-Jessica-cough had listened to me. Ran into Kevin Wilmott there, which is always fun. He made my day brighter with boisterous laughter and some story about his wife that I went and forget already.

Umm this was a boring post and the only things I would have to add are the boring things happening tommarah so I will just close it up right here, although wish Jessica luck she finds out if her ear works tommarah. Wee!
